Veratti Coffee

Coffee, the way Trieste taught us.

A small roastery and a smaller corner bar. Single origins, honest blends, and an espresso that's ready before you've finished saying buongiorno.

Roasted Tuesday. On your counter Friday.

Roasting

Small batches, every Tuesday, on a 15-kilo drum we know by ear. We roast what we want to drink that week — nothing sits on a shelf waiting.

Espresso Bar

A corner spot, standing room, a few stools if you're lucky. Drop in for an espresso, a cappuccino, and the quick chat that comes with both.

Wholesale

We supply cafés, trattorie, and restaurants across Friuli with beans, training, and the occasional honest opinion about your grinder.

Founder portrait

A small bar on a small corner.

Veratti was started by Luca and Chiara in 2017, two streets from the harbor where Trieste has been drinking coffee for three hundred years. We grew up here, with the smell of roasting beans on the morning walk to school.

We could grow. We've decided not to. Staying small means we know every farm we buy from, every café we supply, and most of the people who push through the door before nine. Piano, piano — that's the pace that suits us.
